Gaming QR scanner/no outlines patch

Does anyone have this working on a fully updated 3DS or is that not possible to have? The latest patch by ScriesM.

For the record, I do have homebrew on my 3DS and my entry point is through Ninjhax (Cubic Ninja). I placed the files in the HANS folder on my SD card but the game just wont boot. HANS gives me a yellow screen every time.

I just wanna know if I can still do this or not, wondering if it's a waste of time.
(And if this topic is int he wrong place, I apologize~ Kindly direct me to the right place and I'll try there.)

So I did some googling, it IS possible to do this with an updated 3DS but it's just not working for me.

I placed the patched bin file (00164800.code.bin) in the SD/HANS/ folder and it keeps booting back to the Homebrew menu. I hold "L" and still, nothing happens. Getting a yellow screen.
Anyone with using this patch with HANS got this to work? Still at a bind here.

Does HANS ask for a base app upon launch? if it does, use Pokemon Bank (Without Updates), it's free in the eShop. It bypasses the memory randomization that causes homebrew to fail.

Unfortunately, it does not.

Old 3DS or new? Afaik it only works on O3DS with CFW, not through homebrew alone.

New 3DS with HANS.

So it doesn't work? At all with HANS?

Should work with N3DS I think. Maybe not, because of PASLR? Looked around, and there's at least a few other people having it stuck at a yellow screen too, with no mention of a fix.

K, so it doesn't work with HANS for now... well, thanks anyway. Hopefully there will be a fix.
