You just need to select "Restart Retroarch" when you want to select a different rom. That's all it takes, a couple of seconds and only for the MAME cores, prboom (DOOM) one and the Lynx one.
Yeah, that works for the Mame 2000 core, but not for the Mame 2003 test build. Again, it's very strange, but a fresh rom will load up once but after that it will never load up again on this build for whatever reason. Exiting retroarch, restarting retroarch, it doesn't matter. It's one and done. Code dumps every time.
Not by a long shot
To be more precise,
as far as arcade games go:
-
FBA core runs the games listed in the .xls file attached in this post
-
NEO GEO core runs any and all NEO GEO games below 23MB (see .xls file attached in this post)
-
CPS1 core runs any and all CPS1 games (some glitches in cawing.zip, mind) (see .xls file attached in this post)
-
CPS2 core runs any and all CPS2 games (see .xls file attached in this post)
-
The two MAME cores run:
Please note that in the MAME core lists, i purposely left OUT any games that run on the NEOGEO, CPS1, CPS2 cores and ALMOST ALL games compatible with the FBA core (few exceptions are select few games that perform better on MAME cores).
