Sounds like the issue I get from the main build. have you tried the alt build yet?

No I was referring to the alt build, I don't even have the main build

Hmm odd. Try the main build then. Maybe that R4 has the opposite problem where instead the main build would boot it correctly.

If you have a DS Lite, test to make sure it actually boots up properly on it. If not, then the hang is a result of the firmware you're using on the R4.

My old DS Lite is gone, I believe the battery ran out of power or something like that, I can't even charge it up anymore. I'm trying with the main build right now

yep! Although the weird thing is that on NTR launcher it still gives me the loading screen, apparantley WoodLauncher was the answer all along. Thank you again!

WoodLauncher? The WoodR4 Launcher? I had thought you already tried it awhile ago....

I did actually, but I had another kernel so that's probably the reason it didn't work. I don't even have to push it all the way in the slot

WoodR4 Launcher doesn't care what kernel is on the R4 as long as the __rpg folder is present on the R4's MicroSD. I can see maybe the older R4's don't init correctly maybe if there's not a proper _dsmenu dat file. I'm pretty sure I can just delete it on my R4 and WoodR4 would still boot it.

Oh, then I guess I didn't try to go to SD when I opened WoodR4 Launcher the first time and just assumed it didn't work

Yeah WoodR4Launcher still requires that you install the GUI/settings files on R4's MicroSD. Maybe that's what went wrong for you the first time. You didn't have the __rpg folder installed.

After starting a game? WoodR4 has soft reset enabled by default. I believe It's L+R+A+B+X+Y by default. You can configure the key combo you want to use in the settings screen. (By hitting start button and going to settings. Use L/R buttons to navigate to other pages)

Yeah soft reset feature should still work even if you booted R4 via a stage2 launcher like WoodR4 Launcher.

NTR Slot-1 Launcher 0.9b Release/Alt: OK.

Since TWL Launcher works for me, I'm not eagerly in need of anything.
Want to know if it's my problem or the card isn't supported yet.

Just tried NTR Launcher 0.93b Release/Alt, still no luck.

BTW. What is the ".nds" build used for? AFAIK in order to use a ".nds" file, I have to use a dsi-mode flashcard. But even if I have that cyclods ievo, I got only 1 slot-1 plus 0 slot-2 per 3DS. So it can only launch the iEvo itself?

You must put files in the archive in the root of your sd card.
For example, I have in a zip archive:
folder1
folder2
file.dat
file.nds

I must put these folders and these files exactly in my sd card.

That error could be because of wrong firmware.
Try with another firmware

Alright, so now that things seemed to have changed on this scene here (although I don't quite understand nitrohax yet so pardon my confusion), I'd like to drop this question again. Is it possible for me to use my R4i SDHC 1.4.4 on my 3DS? If it helps, the game shows as "Deep Labyrinth" when put into a DSi.

Decrypt9 can read the cartridge fine & dump it into an NDS file but that's as far as I've gotten for now...
