I wouldn't be able to place them side by side.. as i only have an o3ds xl and a n3ds xl...

But.. bummer, i like the buttons on the non-xl, and the faceplate capabilities... why was the xl made so boring?
i'm trying to find a original red shell to buy that i can get to europe without paying a fortune, i wan't to swap my shell to the red n3ds xl and then put a golden backplate plate on to make it look ironman-ish :P
but on ebay those require import fee's + shipping higher then the acctual product :c

Kind of a review about all the hardware stuff i've done to my n3ds. inclusive fully wireless display + audio streaming + a preview of a recording of doing both of that together

Very nice on the PSP stick there, I may have to try and do that later on...
Though I am curious if one could do a full replacement to the PSP stick?

I guess that depends how the C-Stick works, wonder if it's resistive (have to look it up later on); although it very much reminds me of the Lenovo / IBM track points (or the IBM nub as some call it). In any case I may look in to this because I would prefer full analog joystick movement then the nub.

won't work the only thing you do is replace the rubber nub with the nub of the psp 1000. the c stick it self is a flatcable that get's contact by moving the rubber

Ah you are correct, because the trackpoints (or pointing stick) are capacitive (most likely, I have not measured them yet) strain gauges to determine the relative force and direction being applied. Well at least I won't have to worry about it wearing out too fast then.

just replacing the nub will do huge things already =P so much better then the c stick

It would be nice if you can change the sticks as easy as the ones from the "Scuff" Controller,if anyone knows it.

Hey I'm back after a while of absence sorry for going AWOL I had my exams to do, anyways I'll start on the SD card mod , what I'm going to do is move the slot to where the GPD XD has it , one thing im stuck on is figuring out how to unmount the SD slot from the 3DS when it is plugged in(to stop SD card from frying, I could just turn the 3DS off but better safe then sorry).
