well if you say so, I just prefer the original parts.
you do understand that this thread is about "modding" n3ds, which means we purposly replace stuff on the console, to make it better, so we woulden't be posting in this thread if we'd care about stuff being nintendo's :P if you like original stuff then being in a thread about modding is not the right place :P

Yeah AuReiNAND and NTR for streaming xD, using A9LH.
The thing is not the nintendo sutff, it's you confidence, you trust modding software, yet not really hardware, that's just a state of mind =P
both can be really beneficial, and both can break your system, i diden't open my n3ds till i hard bricked it and had to hard mod it,

I just love messing about either way I don't really care, mainly about the knowledge you gain, just hate losing original parts.

i've just ordered a replacement rubber for psp 1000 for modding my n3ds c-stick,i've watched some video on yt and it seems is easy to rip out without disassembling all the consolle, never worked well for me the c-stick and after a while the grip was lost and is impossible to aim down :( i hope putting on psp rub resolving that problem!

it's plastic not rubber, and it does not move so don't expect a analog stick feeling, it's kinda touch sensitive where when you touch it it will move in that way, it's very intuetive, hope that clears some stuff up :)

it is. you can do that without a problem, but you also could just open the case (unscrewing couple of screws) and then just unscrewing 3 screws that hold the c stick and remove it without any damage but you can also do the needle thing where you just cut it out, your choice, ther are video's on yt about how to do it

good job, did you open it or just rip it out? and if it's to wobbly you can CAREFULLY apply a hair of super glue but make sure that it's laying perfectly streight so that the glue will put it in streight and not slanted

they wont fit, the n3ds has smaller buttons then the XL, if you hold them next to eachother you will see, ther for the buttons use different layouts to hold them in place so they woulden't fit even if they were the same size :c

I wouldn't be able to place them side by side.. as i only have an o3ds xl and a n3ds xl...

But.. bummer, i like the buttons on the non-xl, and the faceplate capabilities... why was the xl made so boring?
