Hey there! From what I understand, everyone else seems to believe you can play out of region games, but dlc cias installed will not work! This seems to be the case for games launched through cfw on the homemenu, but I have figured out a way around it! (I'm sure many others have, just not sure if anyone ever posted about it.) All you have to do, is boot into the cfw, or hack, that allows you to play out of region games. Then, (I prefer to use yellows8's hblauncher loader) use your preferred homebrew method to load the homebrew menu from said cfw. The next step involves using hans, which sadly means updates will not fuction. If you don't have it, get the latest starter.zip from smealum's website. Just go into hans, and change the region to the region of your desired game w/ dlc. Next, set the language if it differs, such as a Japanese game. Last, turn on FW Version Spoof. If, like me, you don't want to have to change all of these settings again, just enable Save configuration. Simply hit ok, then your out of region game should load with all of the installed DLC enabled! Happy Hacking!

Edit 1: As Toiry921 has said, apparently NTR has a plugin for language emulation that allows updates to function as well!

And have the last patch for the game.

or you can just use NTR with the Language Emulation Plugin, I prefer when I have DLC I have the Update that goes with it.

I don't think you understood what I meant. Usually, when one installs an out of region game, such as a japanese game on a us 3ds, dlc for said game will not normally load.

Didn't know that was an option, will add it to the main post!
