One other suggestion I had, would be to be able to see whats on your card already, almost like an FTP program would do.
I was wondering if it'd be possible to make the R4 Commander backup any .BAK save files, as this a new feature in the 1.08 R4 Firmware, and I would find it much more easier to just hit a button and have it copy those files over to my hard-drive.
Thanks.

That's one of the additions in version 1.02 that I put up on the blog earlier. It copies the .BAK back to the card along with the .SAV as well.

Ah, I didn't notice it... despite it being only a post or two above my request. You work extremely quick!
Hey, I just got your program version 1.03. This is the full file one thats about 6MB zipped. I unzipped, then ran it and got an I/O error 6. Should I be concerned? Thanks. I do not have any of the previous versions either. In the readme, it says upon first load that it would ask me for location of the R4.Commander.EXE file, but it never did.
I'm using Windows XP SP2.
Hey, thanks for the quick update. Curious is their a way to select more then one file in the backup section? I can only seem to select one file at a time to be added to the list.
Also does any of the applications in your pack need to be patched with DLDI or is it already patched by you? I noticed that with ComicBook DS, their is something called Application Data Browser. What is that for? Is it where I select the .cbds files? If so, does that mean I need to convert using pictods.exe first? Thanks
The one on the R4 website CAN convert G6 saves. you just need to change "Files of type:" to "All files"Firstly, excellent software!
I have linked this on the stickied R4 FAQ in this forum under "usage"
Also If you need a mirror for file hosting then let me know!
Anyways, just a few suggestions:
- Integrate a trimmer tool into the programme
- Integrate an unzipper
- Integrate a save file convertor
Most of the coding methods for the above list is easily found on the net
just to save dave some time, there already is an unzipper and a trimmer! its just automatic.
I see, thanks for the info. Do you know what program I'm suppose to use to convert G6 Lite saves to R4? The save converter on R4 site doesn't seem to have an option for the G6 Lite. Great job with the app btw. Saves a lot of timeÂ
