Hey there,

I just got a cheap R4i Gold for my 9.2 N3DS. I already installed bluecardfix in both sysnand and emunand, don't even know if that's necessary. I got the Wood Kernel 1.64 from here:
http://www.r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.htm

and extracted it on the MicroSD. The card is recognized as some japanese Konami Game, I think that's correct. But when I try to start it in emunand, the console freezes in a black screen.

It works in sysnand though. I'm definitely sure I have bluecardfix both in sysnand and emunand.

What am I doing wrong? Shouldn't it run in emunand when bluecardfix is installed in both Nands?

Because I would like to have it all in one place instead of having to boot to sysNand just to start DS flashcard. But then again I won't be using it THAT often so I just use sysNand.

Mhm yeah. It was easy, actually.
The problem is that the rxtools I used at that time didn't support it in Emunand so I had to use it in Sysnand. Then it worked. Now with new 10.4 Reinand it also works in Emunand. You may have to install the old white list though to unblock ds flashcard, don't know if r4i gold was blocked at any point.

Using RxTools on 2DS and my DS flash cart works fine using a build from a couple days ago. No idea about N3DS since I use ReiNAND on it.
On o3ds and 2ds this works but not on n3ds on any newer build than 10-02. Reinand and cakes do it fine but lack region free
