Would be extremely helpful if people could address my problems as I bring them up instead of getting lost in a sea of other posts and me not knowing what's heads or tails.
What the hell is this. "It sure would be nice if a bunch of total strangers on the Internet were more prompt about solving all my problems for me. What a load of shit the world wide web has turned out to be." If you want a 24-hour software support team who has all the answers, a) stop using homebrew and b) get out your checkbook. You can't expect professional-quality help from a handful of message board posters who mostly don't know what your problem is any better than you do.

You're getting all jacked off for the wrong reasons. All I'm saying is that I've left multiple posts that have gone unanswered.

i just updated my retroarch from 1.2.2 to 1.3.0 today and now it says no core at the bottom and wont recognize any games. did something major happen between these builds? maybe directory change?
The last working build is December 9. Has no technical insight what changes from December 10 build onward which causes the "no cores" problem.

Make sure that they exit retroarch using the quit option. The saves only write on exit so if you quit using home button they don't save.
You hit the jackpot. They just did the down+B+L+R combination to exit the RetroArch which causes the save data to be corrupted. Thank you very much :yay3ds:

Okay so I got the gravity suit and I entered Maridia from the bottom. I climbed upwards, toward, I guess the upper leftish part of Maridia, it's there. I tried entering it over and over and every time the screen would fizzle and I would have to hard power off the 3ds.
I got up to that part. The crashes seem a bit random, at least for me. The sourcecode on github looks like it hasn't been updated in awhile, though it's been worked on since, so if I tried to fix it (which I doubt I could as I've never really messed with emulation code) it would miss out on what StapleButter has in the works now. If that crash happens consistently for you, I'd just wait for StapleButter to release another update or for a stable RetroArch release.

is it me or is this build slower...
ps1 way slower, gpsp showing graphical glitches. was not like that before. are there some kind of new options im not aware of?

is it something to do with the warning

"warning: RAM is not directly mapped, performance will suffer" at the bottom of my screen

@aliaspider seems to be the main dev for the 3DS version and his github history shows no activity in over 10 days. Just use an older version and wait for him to either come back or for someone else to pick up development....

Hey so I installed the nightly of psxr rearmed yesterday. And am experiencing it not recognizing my. Img or. Cue files. And being quite slow, as mentioned before

Is the dec9th build what I should revert to or even before that?

Also what is the unique Id for the psxrearmed Cia so I can uninstall it. Or can I install the older version over the other?

When using Gpsp, games keep randomly freezing. Does anyone know why? So far, Ecks vs. Sever and Batman Rise of Sin Tzu have both frozen randomly early in the game. Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge resets the game, showing the GBA bios first for some strange reason, when Banjo comes out of his house. Also in Gpsp, it doesn't show the screens before the title screen, but music can still be heard.

Is there a specific build that works best for GBA? I've tried 2015-11-24, 2015-11-3, 2015-11-08, and 2015-11-18, all with the same results.
