You could just convert a number like 9999900 into Hex and inject it into your game. After using that you would end up with 99999.00 money.

I don't have the game so I can't really try.
Have you tried to limit your scans to a specific Offset Range and search for "increased" or "decreased". Since it doesn't always have to be an "easy-to-read"-value. It could also be some kind of inflated Value or something like that. (It could also be a Float Value)
