Is it possible that gateway is somewhere located in australia?

Would make sense on why there is server issues. Gotta fight off them drop bears and stuff.

But if you were to assume they are in Australia, then some of their past news updates/releases were at 3 and 4 AM their time. Doesn't make sense. It's more likely that they just picked one of the first countries on the list when quickly setting up that 3DS unit. Just like I'm sure no one in the Gateway Team is called "guhhu"

I just got my aus n3ds from fishpond.com and it came with 9.0. Are some peoples really shipping with 9.2 like I saw someone say a lot earlier?

wouldnt a AUS import 3DS that has not been online have AUSTRALIA as a default region ?

"a few days" is about as plain as plain can come, for instance "a few days" cannot logically amount to over 2 weeks as it'd fall short of the "couple of weeks" or "a few weeks" margin.

and well... "soon" c'mon, if you use in a sentence like "dessert time soon" it doesn't mean a day or two, so it's pretty subjective. So it's safe to assume when it's "x product launches soon™" it could possibly be within a couple of months, anything further is like most businesses do "coming FALL xxxx" or "Q1-4 xxxx"

soon is ambiguous by definition, but used within certain subject matters it's a lot clearer.

They did however use the word "soon" which could literally mean within a couple of days or a couple of months, which is a huge dick move and is pretty much marketing101

Not that anybody will pay attention or even agree, but thought I'd get it out there.

i havent seen anyone one say a EUR one has anything over 9.0 yet

We have 3 main timezones for Western, Central and Eastern Australia. The others are just random islands near Fiji or something that no one even knows anything about :rofl2:

hey I ordered my aus n3ds xl from fishpond, how long did yours take to arrive? Mine was posted on the 21st of December, and delivery times are usually 6-10 working days pretty much anywhere from australia, but I always hear bad things about fishpond, they were just so dirt cheap in comparison to competitors $_$
