At the same time, I'll add all missing options to nintendont (osreport, log, led, maxpad)

Edit:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/13f1a5d9bz1on51/R1230_IOS222-249-250.7z

* Added auto network initialization if needed when updating Nintendont.
* Added a backup of existing boot.dol when updating nintendont, restored if update failed.
* Added Nintendont missing settings (MaxPads, LED, Log and OSReport).
* Added a per game "Nintendont Loader Path" setting (Requested)
* Changed Nintendont MCEmu setting to ON by default on new USBLoaderGX installation.

If all is good (it should), and when Googlecode stop being buggy as hell, I will push this version in the internal update menu.

no problem :)
I'm glad it helps users.

I didn't include the feature to choose different download path. Currently, when updating, it always save to the global path.
You can create new folder by clicking the little folder icon at the top left when picking a folder, so you can create subfolders directly from the loader.
I won't be home for 15 days, I'll see if I can make a better download choice when I'm back.

ive been testing forcing NTSC for PAL games on USBLGX more. it seems its not solely an issue between GX and DM because Nintendont doesnt work either. although, where DIOS MIOS crashes after the splash screen, nintendont actually loads the game with sound, but no video. I noticed in CFG loader that when i force NTSC the screen blacks out for a few seconds after the DM splash screen, and then i hear the brrring of the 60hz selection on the red nintendo splash screen, then the screen comes to life. Somehow CFG loader is automatically forcing 60z along with NTSC, whereas GX does not do this.

I did a lot of tests with DIOS MIOS (but not with the recent changes I did in video mode patching when I added nintendont).
I won't have time to test it for next two weeks, but I'll do after that.
Though, I have a PAL console so maybe if forcing NTSC doesn't work and fallback to PAL it will display fine on my PAL setup. I'll see later if I can find anything wrong.

Cyan, I was wondering if there was a way to display both the rotating disc and the banner. What I mean is, sort through the game covers and pick your game, when you click on the game cover have it show the rotating disc, then click on the rotating disc to display the banner and then start the game. Right now I have to choose whether I want to display the rotating disc or the banner after I choose the game cover. I have all the game images downloaded and I'd like to be able to display them all instead of choosing.

Cyan is it possible for you to make the new dol video patching methods available to GameCube games, it had fixed video issues for me for several pal50 games by using the region patch+ all on an HDTV the game screen is a bit smaller then the actual screen size

You could favourite all of your we/vc titles and select the star at the top right corner for favourites only

anyone have any experience with nintendont and GX? i cant get memory card emulation to work properly. every time i open a different game it says memory card is corrupted and needs to format, if i press OK then the game saves fine, but if i want to open a new game it says its corrupted again and i have to format it and lose my other saves

Update: it seems like on the first launch of every game u need to format the memory card. but once youve launched each game once and formatted it then saves work across all games. but what if i want to add a new game in the future, ill have to delete me saves? i guess i could back them up on my computer first. but the whole thing frightens me. anyone have an end all solution?

I have a question about the new "Update Nintendont" feature. Is it possible to offer an option to update Nintendont with the UStealth patch? I've been using this site to download the newest Nintendont version - it automatically updates and offers downloads of Nintendont with the UStealth patch applied. However, if I use the "Update Nintendont" feature in USB Loader GX, it only downloads the normal Nintendont version, which does not see my hidden drive. Would it be possible to - for example - open up a window with both options (Normal and UStealth patched) when you click on "Update Nintendont"? Thanks.

EDIT: I suppose a further question would be "Is it possible to make Nintendont work with or without UStealth while not needing a patch?" but that would be something to ask in the Nintendont thread.

Here I tried loading Wind Waker with Force NTSC and works like a charm. I picked the PAL version because DIOSMIOS doesnt like this game in NTSC, sometimes it crashes in the Tower of the Gods...

Hi guys, I seem to have a little problem with the loader.

I get this error message: "USB device not initialized. Switching to channel mode." (or something along these lines...)

Here's the weird things: Everything works fine when the stick I use is WBFS formatted. I got the error only since I switched it to FAT32. (to play GC games...)
And the stick works with configurable USB loader! (FAT32).

Here's my syscheck if that helps:
http://syscheck.wii-homebrew.com/#!YjY1ZjcyN2E1Nzk5
I'm using r1229 of GX loader. Loader's and game's IOS are 249. Switching them to 222 didn't work either...

Any ideas, hmmmm...?

Yes you must go on the USBLGX settings and go to the HDD settings to point at your partition. Also change the path settings of USBLGX if needed. In addition, connect to the outmost usb port on the back of the Wii. Finally, connect the HDD to your PC and make sure your FAT32 partition is primary and active (this is done for example with programmes like Easus disc manager) Now to the guy asking about MC emulation: don't worry about the format request, it only happens ONCE per game and it is due to nintendont creating a 2MB .raw file in the /saves folder of your HDD for each game. Think of those like each game's separate virtual MC.
P.S. I forgot to report that USBLGX r1230 does not support autoboot for Nintendont r140 yet.

Everything already tried, still no luck though. hmmmm :unsure::unsure:

In the uppermost line in HDD settings it doesn't show USB. It just says device not initialized. Weird, that would mean it knows that there is a device connected, but it can't comunicate with it, hmmmm.

Are you absolutely, positively sure that all 4 steps mentioned above have been taken?
Is FAT32 selected in the top line in HDD settings within USBLGX?
Have you selected ''mount usb at launch'' ?
Have you pointed to the correct USB port?

Finally, if ALL else fails, does the HBC or other homebrews "see" your HDD?
Try this:
1. Connect your HDD to your PC and create a folder called apps.
2. Copy any folder from your SD/apps to usb/apps, doesn't matter which one, this is just a test.
3. go into the homebrew channel. Press 1. Now choose USB.
Does the folder show up in HBC? If not then you haven' t setup or connected your HDD correctly.

Yep, pretty sure. :)
Like I said, in the top line I can't click on FAT32, because it only says Not Initialized. All of these settings are correct. The same stick as WBFS formatted works just fine. And, like I said, the stick (on FAT32) works with CFG USB Loader, so it works in other homebrew. idk what's wrong, hmmmm
