What would you think would be discussed in such a thread? The weather? Of course it's going to be about new information that some people may perceive as spoilers, but in that sense it would also be a spoiler to anybody who hasn't heard that the game doesn't have "Version" in it's name for the first time in the series.

To what extent do you consider new information in a Pokémon game a spoiler? New Pokémon is a given, and when you get down to it, that's all that's really new in any instalment of this franchise. It's not like it's unexpected, and if you want to remain 'spoiler' free in the days leading up to a big release it would be a good idea to find a rock and live under it, otherwise pretty much every post would have to be given spoiler tags, in which it would just be redundant.

i think i made myself quite clear when i said spoilers should be used when dealing with things which can be considered major information. If you're unable to understand what that means in basic English, let me make it a bit more clearer for you. I was referring to things such as the evolution's of the starters, plot of the game, large events to take place, near end game info ect.
small bits of information obviously wouldn't require a spoiler tag and can be spoken able as this is indeed a discussion thread. However, due to the fact the game isn't out, some of us wish to discuss it, without having to know information which gives away too much. Try and not be a moron for a second and think.
As for living under a rock, i have every right to be on this forum and be able to talk about the games i feel like without them being ruined by someone who's too lazy to have some consideration.

Sorry to say this but that rumour got started the same place aids and poverty originated... 4chan. I saw it on pokebeach and thought it was just stupid.

It's from that reddit guy who has the game, he got the Megastone X for Charizard and there might be a Y as well.

Megastones below, Mewtwo is the other one with X/Y stones and it has two forms.

If they made one for Charizard, they'd have to make one for the other two starters aswell. It would be unbalanced otherwise, especially seeing as you you get Charmander for free o.o
