This thread isn't that bad, the OP has a point and it's preety true to a certain extent. G6 first gens are a rip and they break so easily or faultily read.

If faultily is even a word.

Danny finally responded to my mail about a month later and I get to send my one of my g6 lites in for repair hooray.

I already got my m3 lite and i'm quite satisfied with that but I did love the g6 menu interface so much.

A month later? So I'm going to have to wait a month just to mail the thing off if Gamersection decides not to take it back?

What did I do to deserve this? Honestly? The karmic waves are totally not flowing in my favor.

What'd you do to deserve this? First of all, impatience for a less stable G6. Second, you're buying a device to pirate games from a Chinese manufacturer.

Meh, short cuts suck.

Anyway, I've already made my point. Now I just have to wait for Gamersection to reply back..

Not neccesarily. It depends on how lazy danny is and how much email he has to sort through and how many times you spam him.

Surprisingly enough I had to mail him 5 times after waiting a few days after the last mail before he got ONE of my emails and responded. I guess the other 4 were just lost.

Post Office is no where near me and their address isn't very convinient.... I guess on monday or something I'll bring my g6 over there and get a padded envelope and have them ship it and just pray the address doesn't confuse the post office.

I feel sorry for the guy....good thing I Guess my g6 lite went out in 3 weeks....sent back to realhotstuff without problems. But I gave him incentive that I will buy yet another m3 lite and a supercard lite black. (I can't get enough). Maybe you can offer the seller some incentive and they'll help you out....I don't think going through the m3/g6 team (Danny for example) will do much good......unless you want to wait forever....literally. That's why you should develop a good relationship with these guys (for me now it's realhotstuff and jandaman). Then the service comes naturally. Good luck man.

I don't mean to make fun of weej any more, but I really enjoyed this comment.

just lay off him period....sure he may of made the biggest stink about his dissatisfaction so far on the g6 lite board here but it is bad luck (hopefully for the rest of the g6lite community) that he got a bad unit and anyone would be upset. It's bad enough to have all the supercard guys come in here with the kick the guy while he's down comments and the I told you so comments....he doesn't need anymore bashing from fellow g6 lite owners.

First, no matter who you are, unless you're a total dumbass AND realize that's what most likely caused your G6 lite to fail, if you take care of it in general, you're always going to think it's a manufacturing problem that caused it to fail.

I take great care of my electronics, and especially my precious G6 ever since I got it. But you know what? At least if my G6 lite broke I would accept the possibility that maybe it was me who messed it up. I know that my cases feel loose and the screw holes feel stripped, except for the black one thank God now that I have a black ds lite. I was even altering the white dustcover to try and fit the G6 lite in, but it didn't work that well, and it probably would have never been very sturdy so I'm glad it didn't work, now that I've heard that loose pin connections might be the problem. If that had been the problem, and the G6 lite would have been corrupted while using either the loose original G6 cases or the dustcover, it would have essentially been my ignorance and my fault by using a defective case, which is obviously easier to replace.

You could argue that it's because of your ignorance of what ACTUALLY causes these G6s to corrupt because danny and G6Team never told you what EXACTLY not to do in order to keep it from corrupting, but maybe they don't know either.

I'm not sure what exactly I'm trying to say, but I do know that as much as us obsessive compulsives are with our precious G6 lites that could break any moment, if it does break, it COULD be essentially OUR fault.

Whoa there, big boy. You're making it seem as though most people approach using their electronics in a manner such as this:
hate2.gif
.

I liked your icon collection, but what you're saying now doesn't really make any sense.

If your USING something, the only way it would technically break is out of USE.. that's a no-shit kind of statement. Cards get corrupted because you use them, food gets spoiled because you don't use (eat) it in time. Cars get in wrecks because you used them and either you got it wrecked or someone wrecked it by hitting you.

Loose pins weren't the problem with my G6 Lite. The internal fucking memory on the G6 Lite started showing signs of failure and eventually died on me after an extended period of time. I already tried realigning the PCB but that didn't do shit.

I'm not saying that it's not my fault my G6 Lite broke. Of course I helped contribute by actually USING it. When it malfunctions through every day means, then theres a problem.

Your "obsessive compulsive" stance shouldn't be with the fact that the G6 can break at moment, but with you're blind fanboyish view of the G6 Lite. None of what you said actually made any sense anyway.

On a brighter note, it looks like Gamersection is going to allow me to send in the G6 Lite and possibly get a replacement. So now begins the pain in the ass task of mailing it off to them and waiting for a replacement while I use my M3 Lite (which is a lot better, by the way).

/yawn.

all electronics are prone to break it can be 1 month-10 years just depends how lucky you get. It can happen with anything computers/tvs. Imo G6 is no more prone to breakage then any other cart and your just pissed that you got unlucky. My new Nokia broke after a month for no apparent reason. Chip making is a far from perfet process, stop bad mouthing and just accept it.

And when did I ever say that I didn't acknowledge what can happen to electronics?

Word.

You see, thats your problem. You had INTERNAL FUCKING MEMORY, instead of internal memory.
