I did not. I have high hopes for 3DS getting localized now. Though Danball has been license Stateside for a few months now and we have yet to hear ANYTHING about the PSP, PSV, or 3DS games getting translated.

I think Saban going try and revive the Digimon series like it did with Power Rangers last year. So this digimon game got a good chance to get localized AFTER the dub air or during promotion for the show. Also if Danball is a PSP game you can forget about it getting a translation, PSP is dead in the United states anything that comes out on PSP now will probably 99% never get translated even for PSN.

It has releases on PSP, PSV, AND 3DS. So I do doubt the PSP version getting translated, but I don't doubt the 3DS one. The only issue is the First game, the expansion and the 2nd game are all on PSP/PSV, while only the Expansion of the first (BOOST) is on 3DS.

Only way I can say Danball gets a release is if the distributors promote the series. Right now everywhere is saying no set release date not even a year or time table date that is most likely why no one has gotten any word on a game translation. Saban Brand said they plan for Digimon Fusion to air on Nick this year. So my guess Digitize 3DS will only get a localization if Saban chooses to help bandai promote the game along with other Digimon Merchandise.

Well that shows you how well they done with that, considering it was revived two years ago :P

On the topic of the 3DS version there isn't even a release date yet, and then there is still no guarantee that it'll be localised, granted with the dub coming it does slightly raise the chances. The point I'm trying to make is the patch will probably be done well before a localised version of the 3DS version is released so why even worry about it. Saying that if it does get released in the UK I will be picking up the official release also as I've got to do my bit right?

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone had heard if there was a patch available to download now, even if it's just the desert section that's unsubbed as long as you can do everything else, that'd be good :)

sorry it's 60% done, shouldn't be too long now, but this requires a lot of effort and im sure that they do have lives outside the patch, they will release it when it's 100% done.

anyways psp is a pretty decent console, in my opinion it's not understandable how it's dead in the states.

Maybe because it's too easy to pirate for the PSP and people decide to do that because they had enough of the awful loading times of the UMDs, plus there is a next generation of handhelds (which would make PSP games look ""bad"" in comparison), plus the increasing market of the iOS / Android games (maybe most people would rather spend 1 dollar in a "it's not bad but not awesome either" game than 20 or 40 dollars on a good PSP game)

I feel Sony just dropped the ball alot with the PSP. Like the Vita, for example, has alot of potential, that's not being used right now(which saddens me). They could still just do digital releases, or make an import section on PSN for the PSP like they did with the PSOne. The fact that there seems to be alot of importing on the PSP shows that it's not dead in the US, or other regions. Then again, those still supporting the PSP might not be considered enough for SONY or publishers to think it's worthwhile to still support, and invest in. Which is sad, since I still love my PSP, and still use it alot more then my Vita and 3DS.

Oh damn I don't follow power rangers like that so I wouldn't know I just knew power rangers was doing good again.

And we wasn't connected it to the Patch, we was talking probability on a localized release for the 3DS version. I never said its a guarantee I also said it's a higher chance for a American localized since Saban plans for the dub to come out this year, and the fact the 3DS is thriving in the US and the PSP is dead. Most likely the game is going to come out before or during Fall 2013 and that is most likely when the dub probably air(I say around September or October), and if Saban does decide to promote the game with the Dub for Bandai then a localized version may come out sometime early 2014. This is all speculation though lol. I will also pick it up if it comes to the US.

I should have made it clearer but I wasn't directing my thoughts on the 3DS version at anything you said, I was just speaking generally.

Tablets and phone games have eaten into the handheld market alot. Sony took the brunt of the impact because it doesn't have very many recognizable franchises. Pillar franchises like Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing and others protect Nintendo like a shield. People who buy the consoles for these games then proceed to buy others and third party games. Sony lacks such pillars to hold its handhelds down and winds up getting punted with rocks from the tablet and phone industry. The Vita has shown massive declines even from the PSP, while quarter per quarter the 3DS is outselling the original DS in the same time frame despite these circumstances.

Many modern gamers may hate Nintendo for their refusal to get with the times but they have shown no signs of going anywhere soon. Sony just doesn't have any lead shoes that they need.

I'm Sorry if I'm intruding but I have been waiting for a game this good since Digimon World 1. Is there any recent updates on the progress?
Ps: Read that RomsStar was in hospital, hope he gets better.

There was progress a few days ago on the 20th or around that time, there were a few more 100%'s added on, it shouldn't be too long now and i have phantasy star online 2 coming out to keep me occupied so i guess it's just a matter of being patient right now :)

I'm sorry I thought you was saying our prediction on the 3DS version was wrong, I apologize.
