Hacking can someone please heap me.....

i know this has been explained before, but i can't get it to work. I updated my chiense g6 with the english firmware then it gives me the error msg right.............then to reflash my g6 lite,

1. im suppose to format using fat16
2. run mptool
3. copy the 2 files from my cd into the root of my cart
4. press the start and select a and b buttons on the green screen when booting without the passcard

but the problem is that when i boot it without the passcard, i get the error msg then when i press ok or continues or what ever it was, the bottom screen stays black, and the top screen has the g6 splas screen. i can never get to the green screen to press the buttons to flash my cart.

someone please help me

you have flashme or do you use a passcard ?

you must start in gba mode, so if you use a passcard, extract it from the ds and start your ds with the gba "game" and then you can upgrade the loader

sorry wrong typing, yeah i only put in my g6 lite and boot, i get the error msg then after i press continue the screen stays blank, and thats it

no, you don't understand (where are you from ? france, so i can help you)...
you can boot from the gba flash cart with :
- passcard/superkey,...
- flashme
- passkey,...
?
which method are you using ?
it is VERY important to help you !
you can't boot from the gba flash cart without one of these method...

no, im from australia,
i boot with passcard3, it was working before when it was the chinese version, but once i updated i get the error msg yeah, so i try to flash it back to chinese loader. but even if i put in my passcard or not, i always get the g6 splash logo on the top screen, then on the bottom screen i get the error msg.....and when i press continue it just stays black and i can not get to the green screen.....but thanks for the help so far, looking forward to your reply

to boot in gba mode, you have to unplug the passcard3 !
keep the gba flash cart inserted.
so you dont start automaticly in ds mode
if you start in gba mode you will see the upgrade screen with "yes" and "no"
else you arrived at the ds menu screen where you can start gba game manually

if not :
when you start the ds lite without passcard but with the gba flash cart, what happen ? (normally you have to start the gba game, or go to the ds choice menu with pictochat)

i cant get to the screen where i see upgrade "yes" or "no"

when i boot without the passcard my screen turns into the g6 splash logo on the top screen and the error msg on the bottom screen stright away and when i press continue, the screen stays black.......i don't know if this is suppose to happen cause i only got my ds like 2hrs ago..........maybe my seller flash it with flashme alreadi? i don't know. what files am i suppose to have in my flashcart?....the two loader files and the "emu" folder and the "pda" folder yeah?

thanks man, is really weird, from your last post something make me look at flashme and pass devices, then when i was reading about flashme, it says to bypass flashme i must hold on to select button..................so i pull out my passcard then hold select on my ds, then boom!, it ran to gba mode, then i could reflash my g6 lite!!!!!.....so those that mean that my seller has already flashed my ds with a flash me? weird stuff cause i thought flashme allows the ds to run from the flashcart

yeah im starting to worry, hahahhaa, but na, almost all the shops in hongkong do that for you when you buy consoles. the price of consoles are priced 90% with modchip included and installed or made possible to play your own *cough* backups *cough*, so when you ever go to hk to buy consoles, you don't really have to ask how much for modchips and stuff, so im not too worried. ehhehe =)
