Floppy4lifeI still find it funny that we can buy the movies but have no way of watching them yet. I don't see either HD-DVD or Bluray surviving.

There is an HD-DVD player out already, but it's like $400 and there are only a handful of movies out which seem to always come out when a new format is released *cough* Fifth Element *cough*.
Yeah its true...UMDs do own...they come in a nice clear plastic case with a nice scratching window which has absolutely no protection for the disc. UMD is also a proprietary disc which cannot be used in any other platform and the PSP is not compatible with a TV which makes UMD Movies only working on one platform and that is the PSP. Unlike DVDs where they can be watched everywhere and converted for your PSP, UMD Movies are stripped down DVDs that only work in the PSP.
There are accessories which allow you to hook up your PSP to your TV via the RCA connectors. Although they are expensive and hard to find.
Dude, I still got one of them 8 inch floppys from the 1970s that only holds 322 KB. Well, okay, my dad gave it to me, but I'm gonna hold on to it forever.

Sorry
That just makes me wonder... What the hell is SON¥ thinking!?? How can they make something that does less even more expensive?? I guess they finally lost it. I think they believe that customers are morons that can be manipulated in anyway.
