most likely you were tricked , this a Japanese version but with english translation patch so it’s not a clean rom it will freeze soon.

A clean rom works on the DSTwo in clean mode.

The graphics on the C-Gear are distorted though. If you can handle that then cool.

On Patch Mode, I can't get past the intro. On Clean Mode, it won't load, and freezes at a white screen.

I have a clean ROM and all system files are current.

Format your SD card.

I am running on clean mode and I haven't experienced any problems.

I got the White 2 rom, patched it, and I now notice it's a 500+mb file. Is this normal? My other NDS roms are not that big.

White 2 is a 512MB ROM.

its is normal, they used the biggest storage card they had... you cant even trip it alittle
