Yeah, besides my W7U 64 bit installation problems, I have yet again ANOTHER problem
Im switching the motherboard (From an ASUS P7H55 M PRO) to the ASUS M7H55 M LE. Problem is, it has different connectors than my current motherboard
(Top pic is the M LE mobo)
Im having problems trying to connect the Power supply cables (Corsair TX650 Non-modular) to the motherboard itself. I have the 24 pin and the 4 pin connected to the motherboard but I don't know where to place the 4 pin peripheral cable (which has the fan controller and power led cables connected onto the 4 pin peripheral with the molex connectors on it) from the power supply or the 3 pin CPU fan cable. There is only a 4 pin CPU fan connector and a 3 pin Chassis fan connector on the motherboard, not a 3 pin CPU fan connector or a 4 pin chassis like my CPU fan cable and power supply peripheral cable.
What should I do? I tried connecting the 3 pin CPU fan cable onto the 3 pin chassis fan connector on the motherboard and the 4 Pin peripheral PSU cable with the molex connectors onto the 4 pin CPU. Tried booting it and it didn't work, switched both cables from their places and still didnt work. Everything else is in the right place so the only issue Im having are these connectors.
To answer some questions I would probably get
1) Yes, my CPU (i3 540 LGA 1156) is compatible with my motherboard (also a 1156)
2) Yes, I properly handled the motherboard itself and
3) Yes, I am 100% positive that this is the issue
