Does anybody have issues with Baten Kaitos?
I tried to start Baten Kaitos but after "start game" a black screen appears.

I am experiencing the exact same issue, I can watch the opening cinematic and everything, but black screen after clicking start. And it happens in both origins and eternal. I've tried it with every release of dios mios and same result. Both are NTSC, uncompressed, using usbloader gx 1193. Images are stored on a western digital passport.

In the Dios mios lite compatibility list it says that 007 agent under fire plays but i always get green screen after the dios mios splashscreen. Is the compatibility for dios mios lite(SD) is different than dios mios (USB)?

I've had some times when I first load up a game that it says the memory card is corrupt using a real memory card. (128mb third party one if that makes a difference).
All I have to do, though, is remove the card and put it back in and it accepts it. I'm not sure if that problem's related to yours in any way.
Same here, remove and insert again during the error message.
Original or third party mem card? just curious.

Here, the official compatibility list http://crediar.no-ip.com/gc/
Looking at that, I noticed some of the games have the DM version listed as 2.1 but that's not on GoogleCode yet, sounds promising.
I guess it is Crediar who's actually making all the entries himself so he would, of course, have access to the latest and the greatest.

So now multi-disk games work on DIOS MIOS?!
I don´t think so.

They only work if the game prompts you to save before the disc swap. Otherwise, no.

so what 2 disc games DO actually work this way with DM??? i looked in all 3 of the compatability lists and peoples posts in this thread and others.... i cant seem to figure out which 2 disc games prompt you for save at disc swap and then properly load disc 2 from that save in DM.... from what i can tell, metal gear doesnt work... and i guess the resident evil games dont work.... does anyone have any info on this matter? anyone actually tried to get past disc 1 with any of these games using dm?

I think someone actually said all the resident evil games DO work but I think you're right about metal gear.

metal gear solid tts surely doesn't ask for save. You open a door (you can look at youtube, there is a video of twin snakes disc change), the game just prompts you to insert disc 2. There you can't insert disc 2.

Get a SD Gecko and use swiss like i do or you can always write your backup disc (if your wii can read backup discs)

For that matter, you could do it on on Dolphin (albeit in slow motion depending on your PC) and if you have the original retail disk handy you could use it directly or use it with Devolution. There's lots of options so you don't have to inject someone else's post-disk-change save file to play the rest of the game.

P.S. I'm not sure if Swiss is compatible with NMM files but I don't think anything else is other than DM(L) so if you are using NMM you might be in a little bit of trouble.

Yup, i found it not feasible at this stage to use NMM. The biggest problem is you can't turn it back to real save. I am using virtual memory card on my PS2 with Open PS2 loader, but it is very easy to transfer saves between real and virtual memory cards and virtual memory card compatibility is over 95%. Gamecube memory cards are 3-4 bucks, and the NMM has compatibility and save-game transfer problems, so no need to persist on NMM for now.

Does anybody have issues with Baten Kaitos?
I tried to start Baten Kaitos but after "start game" a black screen appears.

I played the beginning and it worked using DM2.0

Which region? NTSC or PAL?
And which loader?
I tried both Baten Kaitos Origins NTSC and Baten Kaitos PAL with wiiflow and both games failed to start.

I tried both regions and they worked very well with USB Loader GX.
I can confirm its working for me now using CFG v70 mod r37 beta5 go here : http://code.google.c...es/detail?id=48
to get the beta releases. using the ntsc-u game

So you save the game before disc swap, install Swiss and you can change discs in Swiss? Or how do you do it exactly?

I think you name them something like mario-disk1.iso and mario-disk2.iso and load the first one. When it asks you to change disks you eject whatever you have in the drive and put it back in and it automatically switches. (I think with Swiss you have to have SOMETHING in the drive for it to work, anyway.)

yup, just like that. you should name isos as blabla-disc1.iso and blabla-disc2.iso. At the disc change screen, you eject the disc and reinsert it and the game goes on. I always have a wii original disc in drive. Unfortunately later swiss versions didn't work for me. The one that surely works for metal gear solid tts is Swiss 0.1-r2. Google it and you will be fine.

Also to use swiss loader you should overwrite your MIOS, and reinstall DM after you save at disc 2.

I can confirm TMNT2 and TMNT3 work fine and they're multi-disk games, once you reach the levels where the game would freeze and give you the "error cannot read disk" message that means you reached the end of the disk, boot the second disk and load the same save file, choose that level and it will continue, I played both games fully using DM/DML!

One issue with USB Loader GX though, if you load disk 2 while still have disk 1 in the same SD/USB it will automatically load disk 1, apparently it only reads the first 6 letters of the Game ID instead of checking for the 7th letter, using DML Booter seems to work fine though, I hope this is fixed in later revisions of USB Loader GX, and maybe add an option to choose a .dol file from the GC iso like on Wii so that games like Sonic Gems Collection can work without needing to have a disk!

I bought a 256mb on ebay.co.uk 2 weeks ago and work fine, i think it's a question of luck.
