So I got my 2011 Gold Reward calendar in from Club Nintendo in the mail today, and it's pretty neat. See below for a high res scan of the front and back of each page, 2 months at a time.

Nintendo, I see what you did there with July ;)

What do you guys think? I think these are pretty neat.

Maybe this would be a good idea. Download link to the full resolution scans below.

That's pretty cool. I probably should have gotten the calendar rather than the pins...Hopefully they will give out a better platinum reward next year, since I've already reached platinum status for the 2011-2012 year.

(Hint - these are good enough quality that you could print these out on cardstock, front and back ;D )

Edit - by the way, I have a few months that I'm not sure on what games they are... March and August...

Seriously? March: Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven, specifically images from the Wii version
August: Kid Icarus (Depicts main character Pit)

Both of these games are awesome. Shame on you for not playing them...lol

Added link to download the full resolution scans I took. Woo!

Thanks!! I made a thread a few days ago with a couple pics of the platinum gift pins, here if you're interested to see 'em. I didnt take 'em out of the package or anything though. I wasn't too happy with them at first ... I certainly have no use for such buttons. But then I realized that if kept new in the box, one collectible item is the same as any other collectible item, since you do absolutely nothing with it. It just takes up space, being collected. So, a box with nifty Nintendo artwork on it containing some 8-bit Mario buttons is as good as anything else. And if I decide to say fukkit and open it (which I probably will), then my daughter will LLOOOOOOOOVE those buttons and probably plaster her school backpack with them.

Then they'll be stolen.

My OOT 3DS Soundtrack is still unopened, sitting on a shelf. I intend to keep it that way.

Those are really cute. I just got an email notification today, about 4PM that my pins were sent off in the mail. Can't wait to get them.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
