Gaming Have you died yet in Skyward Sword?

I stated yesterday that i found SS no tougher then the previous titles but after some time in the lava world i have to contradict that.

Twice in the first dungeon against the skulltulas, then not anymore until the last dungeon (got close quite a few times). I then got killed a lot by the last bosses.

Nope I haven't died yet, but I also haven't finished the game yet about 40 hours of play so far. I always carry 1 fairy and the rest jars full of red potion. If i start to get low on red potion ill go back to buy more even if I'm in the middle of a dungeon. Better safe then sorry I say.

Where do you get your fairy supply from? Can't find any

I just finished the 2nd temple and died 1 time so far. Right before the boss of the 2nd temple, after I got the "boss key".

I think I've died five times now, and I'm halfway into the third dungeon.

I got killed by the Lizalfos in the second dungeon once, and before that... I got killed four times by Ghirahim.

You liars saying you never died once, this game gets so tough here and there that i almost broke my wii cord.

Where do you get your fairy supply from? Can't find any

Just about every Dungeon has a location to find a single fairy. If i require one then i will bottle it right away.

Not because you're bad playing everyone else have to be bad too... IMO

Im before the 4th dungeon and only died once because I was dumb enough to try and enter the volcano without the heat restistant item (assuming theres one). Heat killed me.

i died 2 times already and only reached to the first temple... i died purely cuz the controls didn't respond.... this game is becoming 'most annoying game of the year' with the controls that don't work...

I think I died 5 times total - 3 times against the final boss. (He's not *that* tough once you figure out the strategy, but you do need good timing)

Either you're doing something horribly wrong or there's something wrong with your motion plus

Well for me, I have a dodgy and cheap WM+ from Deal Extreme... so not expecting miricles here... but by far this is the hardest Zelda game I have played... defiantly not a kids game.

I got official wii mote with official wii mote plus attached to it...
I'm also not the only one who feels that way.... the guy who gave this game a 7.5 had the exact same critique and also i read a lot more comments elsewhere, for example:

maybe i should have a more 'active' position? but i wanna 'relax' and hang around in the couch when playing a game u know....

I never really died but I did lose a fairy or two. Usually one fairy on tough bossfights such as Ancient Cistern and Lanayru Mining Facility (Stabbing has a high latency!). I did get horribly mutilated on the final boss though, I'm doing sidequests and getting myself a Hylian Shield before I try that again.

Let's see... 1st boss killed me a couple times. Was an idiot in the fire room. Stupid beamos stabbing got me once. Stab seriously hates me.

oh and for fairies. I think there's one in the sealed temple, inside a jar. Never really farmed for fairies though.

I finished the game like that as well, it works perfectly fine. You don't have to point to the screen. As miyamoto said, it's like a 3D mouse.
That's actually why i always deactivate wiimote aiming in TP. Since they use the sensar bar, you HAVE to point at the screen. I'm glad they went the wiimotionplus way with that one.

Yeah...I was pretty ticked at at those Skulltula's took me awhile to figure it out also...they are a pain in the ass.....
