I'm buying myself a 3DS in 2 weeks, so do I need a DSLite/DSi/DS to upgrade the card?

Can I play GBA ROMs on the 3DS with the Acekard 2i?

Does the cart play videos? If so, what formats does it support?

1) Depends on if a new firmware has been released and if your AceKard is up to date before you get it

2) Nope. It needs a 3in1 to play GBA games, and then only on devices with a slot 2.
