I think the video is a fake.

No "Nintendo 3ds" or "Health Warning" splash screens... even though the person clearly powers the system on. The system just boots to the menu? Doubt it. Do you have to press the power button to get out of sleep mode? Doubt it.

I do not have a 3ds yet, but even the DS Fat had a health warning screen... and with reports of eye strain and potential damage have already been addressed by Nintendo, the omission of a "Health/Safety" splash screen on the 3DS seems totally unlikely.

Also there are no LED's lit up on the system that i can tell.

I say fake. If i'm wrong who really cares.

[BTW: I'm not sure if Splash Screen is the proper terminology - I mean to say the screen that appears as soon as you power the system on - Like the DS and Wii screens that read "Read your owners manual before playing" or something like that]

firmware exploits it's the best solution, just wait the first Lego game....

But i things this will solve "only" the 3ds hardware limitation . For the DS and DSI mode flash card should be the best solution.

No there is no more health screen anymore
Tey cramed that all in a little app now so in 3 seconds when you punch the power button, the 3ds menu pops up and thats it

That should settle that question. Note about a minute in how there is no logo screen or anything, just straight to the menu. Audio is in chinese btw.

It had to be R4?
Kinda ironic, eh. The first card that "works" on 3DS is a crappy card.

I heard, Team Acekard got some info/news? Are they in this thread or where? (Didn't read the whole thing, but if they are here, I will)

Don't worry, everybody is interested in your opinion.

But a fake would be suicide for R4i DSN. They won't do that for sure. They are well known here for their Wood support through ywg.

They are doing that because we'll give them a lot of money if that works.

And if that is just a fake, they won't get any money at all.

Easy logic. That's how this stuff works here.

Pretty much. The difference here and with most fakes that get passed around is there is a huge profit to be made in being the first 3DS flash cart. So the incentive exists to work expediently toward cracking it, as opposed to some kid claiming to have a Gamecube emulator running on his DS.

They probably do have it working as shown, but the question is will it also work for 3DS games? Honestly, I would go out and buy one tonight if I knew there was going to be a flash cart on the market within the next four months.
