Its kinda weird how it always goes over price in Australia but the exchange rate from AUD to USD is almost the sameGame Dragon said:In Australia they suggesting a retail price around $400 when that come out that would be around $300 in the USA and 275pounds in the UK, are you still going to buy one at this price
Some articles say it to low, even if it was over price, it just be slowing come out and still be no flop.Game Dragon said:You are all assuming that the 3Ds will be a success I personally think it will be a flop like so many retailers I have spoken to them about the 3Ds they say the price is to high

You do not like all features in this thing? They helps with the game experience. Why does it has to fail to lower the price? They do not just sit around and say " Let make the handhelds cost more every year" I mean the more stuff it has, the more people can be happy and for that the price has to go up.ShadowSoldier said:Game Dragon said:You are all assuming that the 3Ds will be a success I personally think it will be a flop like so many retailers I have spoken to them about the 3Ds they say the price is to high
It is too high.
Here in Canada, it'll be around $280.00. Which is ridiculous for a handheld.
Secondly, the price of games have apparently gone up.
I really do hope the 3DS fails and Nintendo thinks "Okay, lets try this again" And they scrap a lot of the useless crap that's in it "like gyros and crap like the iPhone has", and they make a second SKU that doesn't have 3D. Or they could just say "Okay, even though we'll take a hit at first, let's just bring the whole thing down in price. In a couple years, it'll start paying off. We can afford it."

Hah, try saying that to the PlayStation 2.
Well, with the PS2, you'd have to consider the fact that there was a shortage of PS3s. That prevented a lot of people from buying it, which caused Sony to force the PS2 to live longer.ShadowSoldier said:YayMii said:The way they're going to phase out the DS line is the same way companies phase out the older consoles. The 3DS is going to be the first hand-held of the next generation but Nintendo could have waited for Sony and Microsoft to make their next gen consoles and then taken the time to make the 3DS 1000x better then it's going to be.
Really everyone knows it's just another way to make money. I'll bet most people won't even use the 3D option or most of the features that the 3DS has. I can tell you right now when I get one I'm only going to be using it for game and maybe 3DS ware if it's actually good, like say being able to download GBA Titles
