I wouldn't say it's awesome, but it's definitely an improvement over the first game.

I don't care about intros...
If you are that bothered by them, it'll only be a couple more hours then a no-intro version will be released. Lately, VENOM's intros have been awesome, I stared at the FF4HOL nurse for hours.
