Hacking Playing music while playing games?

Is there any way to play music from an HDD while playing a game using a USB Loader, or something? Like, to have the music over the ingame audio.

MP3 player with headphones work. When I was playing Twilight Princess for Wii I would unhook the audio on long play sessions and hook up the audio from my xbox to play the music off the HDD before I got loads of kool portables that i could play music off of. Worked great only downside with that was needed to pause the Wii and hook up video cables to change albums.
