Yup. May as well just open up RawkSD 3.0 to the public now, lol.

Uh, we never prevented RawkSD customs from working with loaders - you could always put the songs on an SD card. We just don't support it, because (as you can see from the long list of steps) it's a pain in the ass.

Really now. You expect us to believe that after all the time you've spent (and your supporters) 'laughing' at the pirates or all of the other mundane and irrelevant things you've had the time to comment about? Didn't support a feature so many have been clamoring for because it was a 'PITA' (which when put in context, is anything but). Right. I'm buying that one and I'm sure everyone else is too.

And this isn't simply about putting songs on an SD card is it? It's about loading your 'backup' game from and storing your songs on a USB device. Much different (and better) than your dreams of forcing everyone to use an original RB2 disc and having to use SD(HC) cards to store their songs on. And I'm sure, with your skills, you could have made the 'long list of steps' much less of the PITA you'd like to have us all believe it is, had you wanted to. But, you didn't. Actually, it's surprising it took you this long to comment considering the rampant anti-piracy posting tendencies you and the others exhibit in the official RawkSD thread. It didn't really take you that long to think up such a ridiculous excuse, did it?

Thanks - I'll give it a shot when i get my wii back from my friends house.

Side note:

For the love of god please do not turn this into a flame war thread like the rawksd thread..

Take it into separate thread. Having to read though 50+ pages of arguing over how someone can't understand how it is possible that other people have different opinions then they do is dumb.

In the folder of Rawksd3, open the file rawkswf.conf with hex editor and change the cRBA into sZXE.
So, when you install your custom to the SDPC folder, you don't need to change everyfile on the step 8 !
You don't need to edit the title.tmd on step 15 !
All your bin files are in \private\wii\data\sZXE

I just test it on my PC and it work, but i must try on the wii now...

I've just got a question

Let's say i get this nand emulation working yet I wanna purchase more DLC normally using the the good old fashion way with SD cards. What steps would I have to take in order to get my customs working again + the newly DLC on the nand?

First of all, do not delete folder SDPC. Then, you should get a copy of file Rockbnd2.dat from your Wii NAND and follow steps 5, 7, 10 (RawkSD 2.0) and 11. Finally, copy your DLC to the emulated NAND (I suppose you know how).

Well if it works, then it looks like the two most tedious steps in that 'long pain in the ass' list can be replaced by one simple step, making it all rather simple and no longer a so-called PITA. Not that I ever thought it actually was, given the tremendous reward for the effort. And it's good to see we aren't breaking the wishes of the developers either.

I have updated the guide with the new procedure. I have not tryed on the Wii, but have decrypted the rockbnd2.dat file generated and seems to be correct.

rawk3 generates one after the first time you run it. Start it up and then exit out and you'll get a conf file.

But this is my settings:

Loader: uLoader 5.1D
cIOS: Hermesv5.1 on position 224 (base 37)
USB HD: Two partitions 1 for games (280 GB) and 1 for emu nand (format on fat32 40 gb)
Wii Version: 4.0 with bootmi and preloader ( i dunno if this work on something )

And one think to add:

Well, after a little bit more work I have improved my spreadsheet and well I am now prepared to share it with the world. I only hope that through sharing this, no body tries to steal my work and call it their own.

As for the spreadsheet itself, you can ignore the data in sheet 1. The data in sheet 4 is where I do the formulas and such and sheet 3 is the one you want as it should hopefully outline everything in a very clear manner.

The legend of what the colors mean is on the far right. The underlined game is the game that the songs come from that you should import them from. The name of the game beside each song is the game that you shouldn't import the song from.

This spreadsheet does include all the DLC as well. Enough talk though, here is the spreadsheet.

http://www.mediafire.com/?oagc3skm2cyxyax

Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask.

Oh and if anyone does steal this and credit themselves with the work, I will instantly remove the spreadsheet.

EDIT - I noticed a few errors in the spreadsheet but those have been corrected and I've uploaded the new spreadsheet.

I can't wait for all of you to get your hands on RawkSD 3 and realize how terrible this whole thing is.

Of course then you'll just be trying to do the exact opposite and get your warez DLC running in RawkSD

And then I will laugh at how long it takes you to figure out how easy it is.

So i rip RB1, ACDC, LRB & GDRB with "Rawksd3 sZXE", install it to SDPC, update the save with Rawksd2, decrypt the bin & copy all to my nand !
And... IT WORK !!! I have 1191 DLC on my nand... No more need to use an Hex Editor

You don't have to be uptight about this. This is GBAtemp which is a site about GBA/DS/Wii hacking and homebrew. Let these people hack there wii's and let them do it the harder way if they want to do it without ridicule. I'm personally trying this out because I can't wait for RawkSD3 and when RawkSD3 is out you bet I'll jump the boat to use RawkSD3 instead of nand emulation. This is just a mean time solution. BTW not all of this is warez, I buy my DLC legit and brought Rock Band 2. It doesn't mean Uloader Nand emulation always = warez
