Hacking New games that don't work with the original R4

Hi, I've been out of the scene for a bit lately and, I was wondering if anyone could list off some of the newer ds games that don't work with an original R4 with the original software *I believe that's 1.18*. I also have the YSMenu so if it works for that, it's not a problem. I've seen that everyone is having a problem with that new Dragon Quest but what about that Zero collection? Did anyone ever get that Sonic collection that came out a bit ago to work? Any help would be appreciated guys, thanks.

Welcome back and use woodr4 1.10 it's acekard looking software for r4(original, no clones)
It's support almost all games out now!

It's true, original R4's are amazing value now.
You get one them off Shoptemp for like 6 bucks (13 with memory), and it plays like every game you could want.
Shame about no SDHC or DSi support though, but then you can just buy an Acekard anyhow.

Rly! Wow, this is actually amazing news guys. So, this works on an original R4? I don't mean a clone or anything I mean as original as original gets? That's great. Does anyone have a list up of the games that don't work on it yet? Is there anything special I need to do since I have YSMenu? Like, can I just overwrite all the old stuff? *1.18 and YSMenu* Do I need to go get new, unpatched roms or will the old patched versions work fine with this?

About the only games that might not work are the games that were dumped since July 2nd.
Otherwise they should all work, unpatched.

It works on original R4's, and the 1:1 clones which are being sold today.

Read my Wood R4 guide.

Use unpatched ROMs. What games don't work? those which don't work clean are those which contain AP and were released since they last update, which was the 1st of July.

Thanks for all the helps guys, really appreciated. Just a few questions real quick. How do I know if a game is dsi enhanced? I was wanting to use one of those rom-skimming programs and it said not to run dsi enhanced games thru them but, how am I suppose to tell which ones are? I also am wondering about the save file thing. I understand converting them to nds.sav. but what about this whole 1mb save thing? The read me for wood r4 said something about having to manually set those. Could someone explain that to me please?

If you use a tool like RtoolDS/ NDScrc, it will rename the ROMs and will put if it's DSi enchanced or exclusive in the archive/ rom name.

As it says in the readme, you can use the savelist.bin from AKAIO. Just place it in the __rpg directory, it's a file which contains a list of what size save to use for each game.
