Well first off lets start with some pictures.
WARNING quite a few pictures
Okay now down to my first thoughts, please bare in mind I haven't played around much with the DSTWO, it's my first SuperCard product and I've previously been an EDGE card user (that's all that I used).
I'll start off with the box, it's quite well built feels solid (like the contents won't be damaged if dropped) when mine arrived it had some "crease/dent" marks where it had been opened to put the....ribbon thingy >.> (sorry I'll remember the name eventually) inside the box. Taking the DSTWO and USB out of the plastic holder was slightly harder than expected, naturally I knew they'd have to pop out but I didn't think so much force would be required to do so, it's a very tight fit.
The Manual is very very basic. It's in both Chinese and English and has 3 pages for each. It basically tells you what button does what, what the menus are and where to get the OS and what to do with it.
The Ribbon Thingy is made of real Leather with a metal hinge. these come in various colours mine is white. What more can I say?
The USB is small and chubby my Micro SDHC sits in it nicely and sticking out abit so I can take it back out again. It's built well and connected immediately to my laptop.
Now down to business the DSTWO.
Out of the box the DSTWO is....well it's built fairly well. it's slightly smaller in height compared to a normal DS cartridge and slightly thicker too. The slot for the Miscro SD card is spring loaded. It also has a shiny black and silver sticker on it.
Right well, thats basically what everything is out of the box now from my little time playing around with it I'll say what I like and don't like.
The DSTWO cartridge itself, honestly I don't like it. When I put my Micro SD into the slot for the first time it took a few tries to get it in righ. The spring loaded system doesn't feel "safe" at all when taking the card out it feels like it's getting stuck on something and requires a more forceful tug than I'd like. When putting the DSTWO into my DSL it clunks half way in everytime it does this I feel like it's going to break. Finally I don't like the sticker on the DSTWO it's shiny black.....SHINY FUCKING BLACK it does not look good at all the only time shiny black looks good is on a vehicle and even then it depends on the vehicle, what makes it worse on the DSTWO is in the light you can see the umps from the chips underneath the sticker purely because the sticker is shiny, if the sticker was mat black and silver it would look alot better and would make the card itself look likes it been built better.
Now down to the OS whilst prety and all that jazz when I first started it up (whilst it's fast starting up) it didn't register me tapping on the touch screen properly, first time I tried to tap on DS_GAME (takes you to your DS roms) the menu span over and took me to the GBA emulator instead
reset my DS and it started to recognise taps on the touch screen properly.
The menus, pressing whilst in DS_GAME will bring up a start menu where you can copy/paste, delete and cut, change your skin (the theme you see), change languages, changes system settings and view a help file which tells you what button does what.
All of my currently playing games worked fine, pressing X on a game will (before booting it) will bring a menu up you can turn cheats on or off and change the boot mode (patch or clean) there's also a Multi-Save option with the options 0,1,2,3. I have no idea what this is or what it does nothing anywhere explains this. Pressing Y WHILST in the X menu will bring up the cheats from your cheat database BUT when you get the OS from the supercard website it DOESN'T come with a cheat database you must go and get that yourself (it's the usrcheat.dat) get it from Temp Cheat Databases and then
I had a quick look at the options for the GBA emulator noticed that in the options where you can change the emulator language the languages are labelled wrong, if you want to view in English you must have the Chinese language selected and if you want to view Chinese have English selected
I don't currently have any GBA roms so I didn't test any I'll do that at a later date and if I remember I'll post results here.
Overall whilst I'm happy I have my DSTWO, for first time users it's pretty easy to get completely lost as nothing nowhere tells you exactly what each option does.
As I said this isn't a review it's just my first impressions and whilst there's ALOT of negativity here I'd still buy one if I didn't have one because underneath it all with a few updates this card will be a beast. you'll get a Full review from me once the card has been completed (with all the promised features) and don't worry it'll be alot prettier to read than this
My constructive feedback for SuperCard:- Get some better guides and FAQs that clearly tell the user especially for first time users, EXACTLY what each option is and does and also where to get ALL the OS files (I'm talking about the cheat database here).
Again I'll do a proper Review once all of the promised features have been released.
Also before I forget there's been a patch released for DSone and DSTWO you can find the info HERE I have no idea what it does, this is just a compatability fix (apparently)

again this information isn't anywhere to be found in ANY FAQ or manual.QUOTE said:Q?Where should I put my cheat file?
A?Please rename your .dat cheat file into usrcheat.dat then put it under /_dstwo/
