Hardware Wii To NES/SNES/N64/GENESIS Adapter Opinion?

Has anyone tried one of these? I'm thinking of getting one to use on my emulators on the homebrew channel so I can use my original controllers.

Looks pretty cool. especially useful if you actually have all those controllers laying around.
That being said, I think you can find a SNES->GC/Wii adapter for much cheaper and still play Sega games and whatnot on it.

I really just need a N64 adapter as i didnt have a nes or snes, know where I can get one of those

DO NOT BUY THIS assuming it will work perfectly, i have one, exchanged it with the same ebay guy(hes a very good seller) thinking it was faulty and the new one still dosnt work right for me. now i am not saying it wont work right for your wii but mine has a few issues
1 n64 joy stick is useless, lets u walk for about 2 seconds then stops let go of the joy stick and u start walking backwards then stops again, and repeat,
2 button mapping on the n64 is not correct, Z L R buttons are mixed up
3 button mapping on snes is fine on snes games, if u use it in nes games they are not what they should be and can be awkward.
4 tho unproven i some times feel even in the most basic games any of the controllers may tend to lag a just a little compared with the offical GC controller or Wii classic controller.

I did really want the n64 to work right, but, i still really like how i have my snes and nes controllers for that classic feel again. over all it "looks" well made, but dont get you hopes up too high based on that.

NOTE: I haven't tryed it yet, but if the emulators have controller settings that let you configure buttons and what not, you may be able to regain some function playing games that method (this has worked in the passed for me in PC related problems)
NOTE: I did try quite a few different controllers to see if it would change the problems, it did not.

i just use my wavebird for any emulation works fine for me.

I already have a SNES classic controller, it plugs straight into the wiimote.

...or you could just wait until you could afford it and then feel even better because you did it all by yourself without the help of other people.

To be honest I think you people are wasting money, as long as you can play retro games why buy controllers for them you're just buying something which isn't needed but just to make the controls a bit easier. I'm sorry guys but that's just my opinion (no offence)

Hmm, wasn't planning on using the N64 option but now that you guys say it doesn't work i have second thoughts. Button mapping isn't a huge problem for me since i was using this for emulation but lag is a huge issue.

How's the classic controller PRO that was just released in japan?

Ummm.. The PRO is released in europe too.
It looks very much like a Dualshock controller for the playstation.
A big problem is ,that the joysticks aren't working on homebrew emulators for now.

For Nes, and SNes just use the classic controller, it's wireless and is close enough to the real thing.

For the N64 I ended up buying an adapter.

It's $20 for just the board, I bought a project box and hacked off the ends to a N64 controller and GC controller. The button mapping works great with several options, one which is good for super smash bros. I mainly got it for playing the the Zelda games for the N64.

Apparently the guy sells just the adapter for $26

Which is almost as much as the ebay auction, but you can't use Nes/Snes/Sega controllers. If one of those existed when I bought mine, I would have definitely gotten it instead.

Yeah I bought a few items from him and they all work great. The N64 adapter works great also.
