if u have set YSmenu as the firmware i'm pretty much sure u don't require the firmware that originally came in ur R4 cart. I'd suggest u first back up ur r4 firmware and then remove the r4 firmware and only put the ysmenu folder along with the other files that were created using R4YSauto.. Hope It Helps..

BTW I hv a query i've read in earlier posts saying that they got their pokemon platinum sav files showing 1 MB sadly even after i hav downloaded the infolib.dat and savlib.dat files into my ttmenu folder.. so how can i convert my save file so dat the size increases from 512kb to 1 mb??

I cant get the new Mario & Luigi to wokr Does any of these work with M3 DS Simply and YSMenu?!

If you can put in action replay, you're safe. Go to Romulation. Find the Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story and look at the comments. People have posted an action replay code to make the game work.

Hi! I have an R4 (original). Ive tried following the instructions, tried updating R4YSauto, or using the "custom" ones and I cannot get past this error.

I downloaded the newest YSMenu which is YSMenu0903211700.zip. Ive tried renaming it (the original ask for an 08xxx.zip) and even renaming the new version (once updated R4YS asks for an YSMenu0901170000.zip) which I did and still I get an error message stating that the fille cannot be found. I have it still zipped, and the zipped file in the folder with the batch files.

Any ideas/suggestions??

Alright i guess you have the some of the things already figured out but can i ask if u put the YSMenu zip file in the same folder as the R4YSauto folder??? well i'm sure you have read the instruction in the 1st page, but I'll go through it once again just incase you forgot something in between..
1. unzip the R4YSauto into a folder
2. Rename the YSMenu zip file to YSMenu0810211800.zip make sure that you can view the files extenssion option enabled so that it doesn't get named YSMenu0810211800.zip.zip by mistake.
3. Just run r4config.bat and follow the steps ( I chose option 3 where it said i use the middle button to access YSMenu instead of Moonshell(by choosing this option it kinda disables moonshell i think so i just made a back up of my moonshell folder and removed it from my MicroSD card.))
I did this and it worked fine for me, ya just in case you want to enable certain features you could run r4.bat 1st and just follw the simple procedure so that stuff like auto update and stuff can be enabled or disabled. When i did it it didn't ask for the new YSMenu zip

Thanks for responding. I figured it out...there are two YSmenu files on the site and I downloaded the wrong one I guess...but I saw another post with the correct link circled. Downloaded that one and it worked!

Now I have another problem:

When trying to load through YSmenu, it comes up as if it is loading then gives me an error of "rom loading failed" disk errcode=-82

Now I can play the same ROMs on the r4 firmware 1.18...but am trying to get YSmenu working for better compatbility.

Please help! Thanks

with regards to that error since i haven't come across it i'm not really sure how to help you out with it..srry but if i'm not mistaken someone has probably had similar problems and had it solved but for tht you have to go thru the thread (its too long i know but you'll hv to go thru or someone else can help)

Try reformatting the microSD and remaking YSmenu.

yo, sum1 pls help, ive been like asking around for at least a month, no one answers. so I took it here. "Unsupported DLDI" thingy, that pops up when I try to play a game on YSmenu

. Any1 got a fix? PLS? =(

Like seriously, Ive posted tons on other places, and here, and ppl seem to just skip over my posts and answer the next

When I try to run anything, the YSmenu gives me an error saying Unsupported DLDI name.

Can anyone help? I don't like any of this R4 rubbish, just want my TTi to work which has now been broken by the stupid update!

From what i hv managed to read in the 1st few pages ppl who hv encountered this problem hv been asked to make a back up of their data and then reformat and reinstall YSMenu on their card and it works, if u want to see the queries just chk pages 5 to 8 of this thread..

Those wanting the newest r4ysauto with the newest DSTT unofficial loaders that fix problems with hg, ss, KH, MLBIS as well as many other various games, you can try the modded r4ysauto here OR you can try a2h's user-friendly r4ysgenerator, which has a GREAT GUI and its really easy to use, literally a few clicks, here.

Here is a fix for Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story (U) on the R4 and etc. Simply extract to the root of your micro sd card. Insert it into whatever flash cart you are using. Place it in the nds system. Go to the fix folder “it is named Mario and Luigi …. Fix” and run the file titled RUN ME FIRST.NDS, the same as if you were loading any other .nds file. Your menu etc will change and etc. Don’t worry it has made no changes to the card. Then go to Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story (U) and play as you normally would. Thanks and I hope this helped.
This loads a Fix that I have made and been personally using on my original R4DS, which allows you to play the game without doing anything but extracting it to the root folder.

I copied TTMenu (folder) & _DS_MENU.DAT to SD Card. Am i missing anything...
