Is there a posibility that there would ever be a hack for the DSLite to make it a DSi? I know you won't have a camera or extra features but it would save money!

yes, but this is what u would need, Super fast GBA ram card with a camara like the old GBC cam, 2 plastic thing to make the screen bigger looking, Dsi Firmware and but most important piece is a large hammer to bonk your self on the head a few time with for ask the question, theres no one here that even fully understand the DSi yet, ask in a year or 2.

A DSi has many other differences from the DSL.... example the SD card slot. It won't be the same. Cos wouldn't it be still a DSL without the features?

I tried the same thing with my car, a guy on the internets said it is not possible to hack my 1977 Pontiac Catalina Grand Safari to turn it into a 2009 Subaru WRX265 sedan.
I thought all it would take is a quick firmware mod or something but turns out not so lucky. Guess we'll have to wait for a new exploit for the 1977 Pontiac's. Here's to hoping!
