yeah, but not applicable for windows users since windows can't create partitions on "removable drives", even if you created it under linux, windows can't recognize the later partitions after the first one.

fortunately i have a linux box

if usb/sd loader support fat partitions, that will be quite convenient, the 4GB file size cap is not a big deal, we can split those big files

k sorry well any can someone link what a usb loader is. Sorry I am still slightly new to all this since a lot of bad things have happen to 3 of my wii's now on the 4th hopefully the last. sorry for being a newb

Yep you do need rev10. Says it some pages back and the images did not work until i installed it.

Basically a way to run games from an external Hard Drive connected to the Wii via the USB ports on it.

I've heard a USB microphone (WiiSpeak?) is working with this revision. What about other USB devices, may anyone test that out? I can't, because of not having any USB instruments (for example) available.

where'd you hear that? maybe in that thread they tested other stuff also

If this would be so easy, wouldn't waninkoko already done it? Ever heard of disk fragmentation on fat filesystems and such things?
