I installed the new cIOS36 Rev 10 and so far testing a game like Deadly Creatures that needed a disk, just freezes if there is no disk in the drive. Haven't tried it with though, but I just wanted to post one find.
Tried Disaster Day of Crisis PAL and it's also frozen.
Ran the new USB Loader , Tried to load a PAL Game (The Sims 2 Petz) on my NTSC console ...
Froze up more solid that a popsicle !
Other than SD support ... Not sure what fixes this may have .. I think ALL the other revisions people are making of v1.1 , have the upper hand on this.
Why on earth would youy want to rip a game to an SD card, with USB being so darn cheap? I dont get it.
*EDIT* - I cannot get a game to boot at all ... tried 6 so far .. all working on v1.1 (and 4 of them were native NTSC games)
Hmm, I think I'll wait until further notice before installing this if it doesn't work.
If you want to go back to cIOSrev9, try running the installer for it (hope you kept the old boot.dol). I don't know if you'll have to delete IOS249 before doing so. And don't even try deleting it if you're on 4.0 since you'd have to downgrade to get it back on.
For the people that its not working for... what system menu are you on? I'm on 3.2U so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, or the cIOS was released incomplete.
