Well, if it works then you should stick with it. Problem is, it's only 512MB. Ergo, you'll have fewer games. But that's a good thing for some gamers, as you'd only focus on that game alone.

Hey Guys, Why reformat the SDHC or SD?

Right now I just opened one up out of the package and it is FAT 32.

Is is required to reformat? to FAT with 64K clusters???

It's not required to reformat, but it is recommended that you do just to clean up your card. Some of the people here had problems with their micro sd that just needed a reformat to fix.

I don't you can format SDHC's to FAT because when I refomatted my 4gb SDHC, I didn't have the option to pick FAT, only FAT32.

Well...I got everything working...I bought an 8Gig Transcend Class 6.

Loaded up a few games and it plays great. Still FAT32 didn't bother with anything just plugged it in and loaded up moonshell 1.71...so far my edge is working great.

You know what, someone needs to make a FLASH SLOT Adapter so that we no longer have to keep taking the SDHC cards out of the flashcart. Just plug the flashcart into a slot made for it and snap it right into a PC. ALl this back and forth nonsense with my card is killing me. My SDHC card goes into mey Edge Flash cart TIGHT. Hard to pull out sometimes???

I have the same, a Transcend 8GB Class 6 - haven't had a problem yet, worked right from the get-go...
I RECOMMEND IT! Almost 5.5GB full already, yeesh...

AHHH I'M SO HAPPY I have an Edge DS.. finally.. yay. I apologize for this post... but yeah, w00t!
