I downloaded theme park ds a while ago. seemed really gay at first so i stoped playing. ive been tempted to re download it and give it a try. Is it worth it? is the game any good? and if its not are there any others like it?

If you have already played it before why are you asking us if its good. It won't magically become good just because we give it the stamp of approval. If you didn't like it before you probably won't like it again.

I've played it for soooooooo many hours on the DS I love it.
And saying something is "gay", as in bad/stupid/annoying, is not cool in my book..

yo blackout when i said i tried it, i mean i played it for like a minute and got impatient and turned it off. and i dont really feel like getting involved with it again. i was just asking for some peoples opinions on it. so all im asking it, is how do you like it. i havent really played it enough to form my own opinion

Well having already played this on the PC years back I played the DS version pretty much none stop when it first came out, loved it despite the fact that the same bugs where in it.

It's not really good. You only watch people coming in, saying our park is dirty and all other things, that assistant said you 're being too generous, you raised the price, and everyone stopped coming, WTF?!

Don't play it again, just try Anno1701 instead, much better

Pretty fun game, I beat half of the locations but gave up totally beating it as each park took me about 4-5hours. Became tiring with its bad controls

I loved Theme Park on PC, I was playing it pretty hardcore back then.
So I grabbed the DS version thinking nostalgia would kick in and would have a great experience - I was dead wrong.

I like to keep it as an old memory, no more.

Theme Park was the first PC game I ever bought. Those were the days. Still remember when my dad took me to Toy R Us to buy it. I had been drooling over it for months from magazines.

Only to find it was a business sim not a rollercoaster builder. Didnt stop me enjoying it because I just used the cheats and built the best parks ever. Wasn't until years later when I developed a brain I appreciated it as a management sim.

Haven't played the DS version but I think its about time i did!

I had picked up this game when it was new and it lasted all but 4hours or so before the limitations really started to suck and the game got really tiring to bother with.

I'd say going by your choice of wording, your Gaydar works quite well.

If you need a slow paced 'sim' of sorts try Sim City DS or Civilization Revolutions (though both are fairly different obviously.)
