There are still laws in the new game, but there are no longer penalties for breaking the law. If you obey the law, the judge will give you items, but he won't do anything if you break it. I like this system a lot better.

Well, at least it's safe to say not everybody loves challenge then.

Anyway, will there be any cool old-school jobs like Onion Knight? since FFIII has it.. maybe they would think of carrying it on?

edit: wait, if a law is broken you dont get sent to jail? That bites, I thought it was a good challenging system
If you break the law, you can't revive people and you lose the function of your Clan Ability, which while not as bad as having your character sent to jail/instant game over, can put you in a jam if the battle wasn't going your way already and you have this blow to deal with on top of that.
