Hacking Does anybody have a problem with the iTouch shell?

The shell I got with the iTouch didn't have the external clips like in the review and the pictures like on DX or gameyeeeah. The shell split open when I inserted the microSD in. I currently got tape holding the thing together for now, which makes it difficult to insert it into the NDSL slot.

Anyone else got a problem similar, need help to fix this or where I can buy a replacement shell for it.

came from DX. must be a bad batch, I just compared it to my friends iTouch and his has 4 screws holding it together.

I'm pretty sure that the iTouch has clips, like the M3 DS Real, from the reviews and images I've seen.

you should return it, or file a compliant, cause if any product you buy, not just pertaining to carts, comes apart when you put something your suppose to be inserting in, and it comes apart, deserves a refund.

already took care of it. thats another month or so before I can use one, hope I get the one with screws. in the mean time back to the M3 simply.....what a drag.

I would have super glued it shut :s. Deal extreme is good and all, but their return process takes FOREVER lol.

That's one big downside to the iTouch DS...pretty cheap build quality.

The real problem is not the cheap build quality it is the chips they are using with the HC microSD chips, it sticks outside the normal case and has difficulty sliding in and out of the slot which compromises the shell design.

The ones that I have seen with this type of problem:
EZV slot1 (new one) (not HC but the shell is b---h to use, gets stuck all the time)
iTouch
M3 Real

I don't have an Edge to know if the shell has a hole under the sticker or not.

The Supercard (HC version) doesn't seem to have that problem even though there is a hole cut out for clearance on the chip.
