It didn't take 15 months, but it did take about 5 weeks. I mostly only have time for games on the weekend. I did beat Adventure 2 (47 balloons, beat Wizpig on his rocket) a couple nights ago. But I still didn't have T.T. as a playable character. I thought that would do it. So I googled ... have to beat T.T. on all 20 tracks in Time Trial mode. Ugh.

As of this morning I've beaten T.T. on 8 of the 20 tracks.
Good luck with Darkmoon Caverns!

I need to preface this by saying that I've been sick for about a week right now and might be rambling uncomprehensively. My apologies if so.

Beat Ace Combat 8 earlier today, and as an AC fan this was still good, but not my favourite in the series.
The story in this one just wasn't that interesting to me, with the whole social media angle plus the far from impressive enemy aces (both story and gameplay wise). Add the what I can only refer to as interactive cutscenes (seriously they can't be termed QTEs because there's no window to do anything in, it just waits for you to do something) and it kinda became a 'whatever just get me into the level' to me.
In addition to that you have the (in my opinion) fairly numerous gameplay interruptions to show the 'cinematic' cutscenes (I got real sick of constantly hearing the bloody song and seeing the Shadows Squadron, although they were far from the only interruption), and the missions kind of lacking the wow factor in some places (there are (to the best of my knowledge) three tunnel runs but only one is required and at least two of them are very short (did not know about the first run so I don't know about that one) with the only somewhat interesting ones being the land battleships. Although those kind of pissed me off due to my lock on deciding to lock onto everything but what I wanted it to lock onto.
That said though it's still an Ace Combat game so I can't say it's actually bad, I just prefer the older ones.
I don't know, at this point I'm wondering if it's just me not enjoying newish games that much anymore. The last one I genuinely enjoyed was the Elden Ring DLC, I've played Spider-Man 2, Wuchang, and this since then (still need to play Echoes of Wisdom, but that's another story) and all of them felt like they were not bad but not my favourite.

Beat the first boss The Fallen, in Castlevania Belmont's Curse

Took a bit of practice to get the hang of avoiding his attacks. I wasn't really getting anywhere when I played the demo for some reason, but today it clicked.

Fun game so far.

Gahars, taking a day off is a win, and successfully lowering your KD/headshot ratios sounds like proper commitment to the cause. The twitching just means you're charging up for tomorrow.
