I'm not sure what would be causing it to corrupt on an emulator, the save you linked works fine on my hacked Switch without any modifications.

Could you please help me change my name convention on a PS4 save file? I did Dio Brando as a joke but it's hell on earth and I just want Ren Amamiya, I've been suffering for 53 hours. I tried it myself and I couldn't figure it out.

You earned your 53 hours of pain.

Jokes aside, I'm pretty sure 3 Portable, 4 Golden and 5 Royal all revert the protagonist's name to the default name if you change languages. Try changing the game to a different language (like spanish, japanese, etc) and switching back to english.
