My controller wall mounts came today, and I installed 2 of the 4 I bought in my PC room/closet.

Odin 2 Portal. Bought an Odin 3 but broke the controllerboard within the first day when changing the buttons. Am awaiting replacement parts so bought a base O2P. Saw a good deal on ebay for a brand new one and received it within a few days. Am likely to sell it once I fix my Odin 3.

I've set it up yesterday with Iisu and put some games I want to play through (PC,PS2, Switch and PSP). Cool thing it supports custom music in the menu so it is constantly playing school days from Persona PSP.

Bought 2 items from Amazon UK and sadly they're going back.

- SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom is a download code in a box (the listing showed it'd be on the cartridge).

And here's the one that someone committed fraud, I bought a Samsung 8TB Pro SSD which are compatible with PS5, but when I tested on the PC it only shows 931GB usable so someone swapped the labels. What a piece of shit, that person deserves to be punched in the face, have a criminal record, and locked up.

My older nephew's birthday is coming up; I asked him what he wanted, and he said he wanted a drawing tablet for his PC, so I ordered him a VINSA T1161, it's a 11.8" x 7.4" entry-level drawing tablet without a screen. I also ordered part of his little brother's Christmas gift, 4 Gunpla kits of the Petit'gguy bears, they recently got reprinted. He already has the red one, and he said he likes them. I also have an MG Build Fighter Strike Full Package that I bought for him earlier in the year during a sale.

Last time I posted was the TG collection on the 14th I guess, so some catch up and follow up (TG.)

Around the 14th the first image I got the TE Core and Silent Debuggers off ebay for like 1/3 off the usual, Ordyne was $20 locally last I found that way. The rest were flea things, dollar or three here or there, nothing crazy, and those plush are japanese claw game imports which surprised me.

The following week and weekend fleas like $10 into those handhelds the 2 stacked are new, 3DS game was most at $15 as was that Miyu TV series I'd never seen before I'll watch for this month.

Mid-last week goodwill for the first time at this location had this and a screw up given how they behave all that was $4. There were 2 others, but they crumbled.

The next image was this weekend and thursday (namco $5 DVDs $15 for the pair that day.) The rest was saturday/sunday with the games above for $50, then controllers/oem cables for around $20 if I remember.

And then the follow up. As I've purged more of my collection and resold stuff I kept some/sold some on I funded more Turbografx stuff, largely HuCards. And yes I'm well aware Cotton, Godzilla, Bonk 2 and Magical Chase are bootlegs (latter 2 are modern made HuCards) but fuck paying that. The rest of it is all real, and Ordyne was a case+manual for that loose card in this post which was right place/time cost me less than buying it complete. All these were sourced under value by largely 20-25%.

Screen protector and case for my phone.

Been looking for a screen protector for a while but none of the local stores had one. Finally found one, but it didn't fit in the old case 😵‍💫
It was too wide by a hair and the case was lifting it off the screen. Probably could have shaved the case down or something but at the moment I just couldn't be arsed.

On the bright side, I found out they have some weird screen protector adhesive UV gel stuff that's used to stick screen protectors back to the screen if they peel off and won't adhere any more. Neat

if the case is silicon you can put it on boiling water for 10 minutes and it will shrink a little.

Got a classic movie in today on sale for $8 on Amazon. Collection is growing.

I used to know (and work alongside with) someone from the Roger Rabbit animation team back in the day, funny old small world. Should prolly watch the film once again, been 30 odd years or so I last saw it-

That's cool we're they still using frame animation? Forgot what they're specifically called. Childhood favorite though.

From what I chatted with Les, Roger and Jessica were pretty much done with traditional 'tweening methods without that much CGI thrown in - Les was in the Roger's shadow team. Yes, Characters had their own teams, as did the shadows :)
