Switch 2 Joycon's stopped working after new update 23.0.0 update

Pretty sure the new update has broken joycon 2 connection to switch 2 in handheld mode.
The console recognize there are joycon 2s attached but the buttons will not respond
When you turn off the console and push home the screen turns on but that's it.
Even if you resync the console wont regconize or sync with the joycons.
Hope nintendo catches wind and pushes a hotfix for this cause I also read that others are having this same issue
And pretty sure it's the new firmware that broke joycon 2 connectivity.

Joycon has it own firmware so you can try disconnect all controllers and reconnecting them and also updating joycon firmware.

its official Nintendo switch 2 joycons that came with my launch console
And I tested them on an 2nd switch with 22.5.0 firmware and the joycons worked
But when I plugged them into the 23.0.0 firmware switch 2 the joycons wont work
It connects but unfortunately
Still says controller not connected

My launch joycons seems to work fine on the latest firmware, is there anything else that could have caused them to go bad ?

Nope they work perfectly fine on a switch 2 with 22.5.0 firmware
It literally stopped working right when my other switch updated to 23.0.0

That's strange, I'm on 23.0.0 and I'm fine, guess it doesn't affect everyone. Maybe region-based ?

No firmware isn't region dependent on the Switch. In fact the only regional varient of the FW is the JP firmware for specific models.

Don't you think that with over 25 million units out there that it would be WIDELY reported if that was actually the case?

I guess in your situation, you can try the option of disconnect all controllers from the setting then trying pairiing the original switch 2 joycons that con with this unit, since they work with the other unit then the problem might be this unit.

It is rare but the problem might be the 23.0.0 unit itself, does it work on table top mode? It doesn't pickup both joycon?

anyone who have controller from Nyxi working for them on Switch 2 post update?

I am using the controllers from Nyxi on Switch 2 right now. i really hate OEM joycons.

When I put the joy-con 2s in the tablet the colors show up like they are connected but on the bottom left the joy con picture/handheld mode picture doesnt pop up

Seem to be real, I mean if you already tried with the original set of switch 2 joycon the following system setting-> controllers and accessories -> disconnect controller, then re pair the controllers, should pickup it up if it working normally,

In the controllers icon section you can try the search for controllers.

The only positive I see is one more person said they have the same problem on that reddit thread but that's it

Oh! That's my post on reddit cause that was my proof of concept of what's going on but your right it's not just me
Other folks have the same/similar issue than mine that commented on my post I made
But there are people with issues with joycon grip chargers but those are 3rd party and they arent suppose to work but they worked before the new update

I just see one person in that thread, having the same issue as you. It's really hard to tell if that's the firmware causing the issue or something else, unless you have even more people that reported it ?
