I was thinking about this last week. I think it would be reasonable to think that full speed is achievable for 2D games.

And for 3D games, maybe with Wii U overclock.

Would there be an option to be able to switch screens with a button while only having one visible on screen?

I think borrowing elements from some older emulators might be worthwhile, since they're based on older architecture; in this case, I'm referring to what works (well, I'm not a programmer).

I think it would be interesting to see these layouts (ignore the Gamepad):

- Two screens stacked vertically, as it works currently.
- Side-by-Side

- Side-by-Side rotated 90º / 180º
- Single upper screen.
- Single lower screen.

Upper screen bigger, Lower screen on a small square on the corner.

This. Totally agree. Maybe button combination or something. A menu with the home button (appart from quiting the emulator or even the game) would be nice, but achieving this quickly without menus would be super. Maybe a combination? or being able to set shortcuts... idk

A button combo would be perfect to change it in realtime, as you could need it mid-gameplay.

Thanks for the continued interest in the project everyone!

The screen layout suggestions are good, and I appreciate the visuals.

As for the project itself: I hit a roadblock in writing the ARM to PPC JIT recompiler. As can be seen in the screenshot attached below, I have gotten up to 27fps in a 2D test rom, but other roms do not seem to load with these changes.

If anyone skilled at wii, nds, or AI programming would like to tackle this challenge (writing an ARM to PPC JIT recompiler) I would welcome their help and encourage them to do so! Feel free to fork the project as well.
