You have set the bar very very high there with Switch 1 sales as nothing bar the glorified DVD player PS2 has come close and that was a long long long long time ago ...

20 million is for Switch 2's first year with number would be higher as 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year and goes on.

Switch 1 sold nearly 16 millions after first year.

As for your question, probably not for many years.

It took 9 years for Switch 1 to hit 156 millions.
9 Years and the switch 1 wasn't heading straight into a recession and hyper inflation and rode that massive 2020 lockdown sales spike.
While I have no doubt the Switch 2 will be successful given the shit show of global economics it will be tough for the switch 2 to outsell the switch 1. With how Ram continues to skyrocket in price who knows how long they can hang on to that $500 price point.

Apparently their investors were actually upset with them that they only raised it to $500.

Nintendo confused its customers with Wii/WiiU. They are doing again with Switch/Switch2. Just wait and see.
No, Nintendo didn't confuse ANYONE with the Wii/Wii U.*

And if you had been right, then why weren't they confused by Switch/Switch 2? It's a runaway success and the fastest selling gaming device of all-time.

*Low IQ fools suggest that there were 80 million idiots out there that WOULD have bought the Wii U, but didn't because they were SO braindead that they spent the entire Wii U lifecycle believing that the Wii U was just an add-on to the Wii. The truly braindead are the ones pushing that narrative. The Wii U was a POS with a Gamepad no one asked for and that Nintendo never found a justification for that had the power of a PS3 at the dawn of the PS4 era. THAT is why it failed. Not because anyone was confused for six years of commercials, releases, Youtube videos and reviews about what the Wii U was.

The Switch 2 is not only a runaway success with thousands of games that it runs natively, and far better than Switch 1, but it remains the best bargain in gaming too making both Valve and Sony products look shamefully greedy by comparison.

Any more hilarious predictions @Anikemi?
