ROM Hack Naruto Path of Ninja 2 UNDUB Patch

Special thanks to donelwero for showing me how (Kinda, more overly was just encouragment)
Anyways, its Naruto Path of Ninja 2 (U) with Naruto RPG3's voices. I wanted to undub the first Path of Ninja game, but since it was a America/Europe exclusive game it wasn't possible. Unless I find out it uses the same sound file from Naruto RPG2.

yeah but TOMY decided to skip it altogether.


Also - I undubbed it myself like months ago. But, it's still pretty awesome and I love the original battle music (when you fight a regular crew of enemies) - it sounds very Final Fantasy with this Asiatic feel. I like the US music and voices better for some weird reason in this game. :/

I didn't notice... but now that you mention it... it seems different. Since I got through half of the game before undubbing it. Also yeah, Path of Ninja for DS was a remake of Naruto RPG for GBA, with Naruto RPG 2's engine. Unfortunately we never got RPG2 thanks to this, which covered Naruto vs Sasuke.

Only one song was changed - and that's the...how do I put it, the "dungeon encounter". The boss musics are unchanged.

The dungeon music in Konoha Shoutai sounded a lot more like Naruto music and also was good for a dungeon crawler. It's very RPG-esque and also like something you'd hear in Naruto

When it was brought to the States, it was swapped out for a more upbeat encounter that really portrays the ingame adrenaline. I'm not sure but the reason for this is probably due to stateside anime licensing issues from the games to the shows. The Naruto Clash of Ninja games have a similar issue [none of the games, including Ninja Taisen games, use actual Naruto music due to anime studio licensing issues]
