I have 3 left joycons that came with different switches. The battery drains in idle, other than that everything works perfectly. Like in 3 days without use the battery goes dead (0V which is not good for the battery).

On checking, I found the standby current draw on these is 0.4mA, while in working ones its like 0.1mA. Its like the joycon doesn't go into full sleep and I think it's the CYW20734 ic.

The firmware is already updated and I believe these ic are also custom programmed like switch wifi ic, and only pulled ones can be used.

I would like to try and install firmware again, Is there anyway I can force the switch to install joycon firmware?
Also is this a common issue cause I have seen quite a few of these earlier as well.

Your battery is at the end of its life.

The batteries in the Switch have a protection that prevents them from draining beyond 2.5v because going lower causes a whole chemical circus in your battery that permanently damages it due time.
If you measure 0 volt then it is broken beyond repair.

With a current draw of 0.4mA on a good battery (525mA) , it should last for 60 days, your battery would only hold a charge of 40mA if it died withing 3 days after fully charging it.
