The salary of minimum wage earners in a company is such a tiny fraction of the total business costs it's a rounding error. You could double it and still not have to raise end prices.

So the stores don't have to increase prices, they will increase prices just because people don't have a choice? Seems like the fault lies somewhere else and not with the wages.

Yeah the faults larger corperations knowing prices are going up that the public can afford to pay and in most cases have no other choice but to pay. If a 30 case of diapers is $40 and manufacturers know new couples can easily make that they'll definitely try to charge $45.

He was also charged the cost of salvaging the car from the lake.

Fact is, Elon touted a feature that the truck simply does not have and will actively endanger anyone who tries it. And if I recall correctly he did this during some massive flooding or something? Had the truck been out at the time he would have gotten a whole bunch of people killed.

It's not the first time he made such claims but at least back then someone told him to add a disclaimer because this is some actionable shit.
