Hello everyone! I am very excited to share my initial MVP (Minimum Viable Product) release with you all. This is a personal project I have been working on, and this first version is designed to show that the core base of the game is fully functional.

Right now, it includes the essentials: custom splash screens, a very basic menu (featuring the logo, the background, and the bird in the middle and a play button), and the core gameplay loop.

Requirement:
Please note that to play this game right now, you absolutely MUST have the LÖVE Potion interpreter installed on your console.

Key Features:

1 Game Mode: Classic Endless Mode.

Original assets from the classic game.

Original uncompressed .wav sounds.

2 Backgrounds: Day and Night.

3 Playable birds: Yellow, Blue, and Red.

Basic touch support (I plan to improve this significantly in future updates).

Controls:

Splash Screens

A / plus : Skip splash screens

Menu

A / plus : Start game

In-Game

A : Flap

X : Restart game

Y : Back to menu

plus / minus : Pause / Unpause

What's Next & Version 1.1:
I am happy to share that I am already working on v1.1! This upcoming update will bring even more variety to the game, including brand-new birds and completely new backgrounds to choose from.

Roadmap and Future Plans:

Local Save Data: Currently, high scores are only saved temporarily for a single session. I am planning to implement a proper local save system in a future update so your records are kept safely.

Local Multiplayer Mode: I want to add a co-op mode where Player 1 controls their bird with the A button, and Player 2 controls a second bird with the D-Pad Left.

Standalone Release (.nro): My biggest goal is to turn this into an independent .nro file so that LÖVE Potion is no longer required to play.

Touch support improvement

I need your help!
As I mentioned, I really want to compile this project into a standalone .nro file, but I need some guidance to figure it out. If anyone in the community has experience with this and can assist me, I will gladly add you to the game's Credits!

I also need a tester for test the game on a physical Switch and send me photos because I only test it on the Windows Love Loader and nest, also his name will be included in the credits :)

I've tried it, and it crashes on the title screen right when I press the button to start the game. Sometimes it loads, but then it crashes when I press A or the screen. It lets you change the bird's color, but it's not playable.
