Warioware meets your pictures in Pictonico, a new free mobile game by Nintendo!

The game features warioware gameplay where you must take photos of people in real life using your smartphone’s camera, those pictures will then be turned into microgames similar to Warioware.
The game is free to play but some microgames will be paid if you want those.
The game releases on Android and iOS on May 28th of this year for free!

People! I see your fear for Nintendo using this for LLM or data harvesting, Nintendo has never been caught to do that in the past, what makes you think they will do that now? In fact most Japanese companies do not collect data, they know the fear of it, and they understand it’s significance.
I can only see one thing happening, in Pikmin Bloom you can give the game access to your camera roll and you can upload a video for that day you walked, it will be stored on the servers for you to redownload but I don’t see something like that happening to this, I think the game does warn you that you’re uploading it to servers, I don’t remember.

Companies can change their mind. I don't care one way or another if they *haven't* sold my data. If they have the data, they can do whatever they want with it

Yeah that was definitely Niantics fault, but I honestly don’t care if it’s going for a good cause like mapping out the world. Only Pokemon Go could do that and incentivize people.
"Mapping out the world" is not why Niantic is tracking geolocation of users.

Also, the appropriate rights holders do not got a free pass. They all signed off on the game. Nintendo and the Pokemon Company are as much to blame as Niantic

Feels to me like a mix of Wario Ware and Gameboy Camera mixed with that dopey pack in 3DS camera game using faces. They couldn't pay me to download that. I'm honestly shocked they've not done a good solid Wario Ware game for mobile because outside of GBA that DS one they did was the most interesting all around being touch games (WW Touched!) This looks uncomfortable to play at the least. They've had a few good games if you like the genres with mario run and current ver of animal crossing, to the f2p fire emblem, mario kart, and animal crossing(first iteration) But some of their stuff, ehhh. They should try harder, but I get not wanting to cut into their cash cow in the slightest too which is why I think a sequel of sorts to Wario Ware Touched would be solid.

I do not trust any company with my info nowadays. We live in "" wild west"" of data gathering and user abuse.
